Communiy Sailing of Colorado's Summer Camps are the ideal course for all junior sailors, novice or experinced. On a typical day, our instructors lead brief classroom discussions on the skills that will be covered. Building on that knowledge, instructors will introduce land drills where students learn skills in a safe and comfortable environment, making their on-the-water experience more effective and fun! Swimming, games and other activities are also part of the sail camp experience. Full day students are required to bring a lunch, snacks and sunscreen!

 

The Cherry Creek Reservoir is an ideal places to learn sailing. Children will experience the exhilaration of sailing in a safe and controlled environment. Community Sailing's classes are taught by US SAILING, American Red Cross and Community Sailing certified instructors. Youth must know how to swim. Youth under 18 must have written proof of ability to swim 25 yards and float for 5 minutes in sailing clothes (t-shirt, bathing suit and sneakers). Instruction, sailboats and safety equipment are included.
