Making images has been my pursuit and my passion professionally for over fourteen years now. I love what I do. For me, it is not simply about capturing, catching, freezing the moment but first, feeling the moment. Without feeling there is only visual record. I always wanted to use my talents to help others feel something, to give them back my best interpretation of that which they give out. Originally from the San Francisco Bay area, I attended the University of California Santa Barbara and then University of Colorado at Boulder, where I studied studio art and art history and received my bachelor's degree in Art History. I then went on to do two years of further studies in photography in Denver, Colorado prior to opening my business. I photograph weddings, maternity, newborn, child, family, and corporate portraits, “Day in the Life’ documentary studies of your family, and many other types of events. In the last three years, I have greatly enjoyed giving back in several ways. I am currently the Chapter Director for Flashes of Hope, a national non-profit that provides uplifting photographs by professional photographers to children undergoing treatment for cancer and other life threatening diseases. We organize 9-12 shoots a year at Children’s Hospital of Aurora and Rocky Mountain Hospital for Children as well as participate in fundraising events to help support both the shoots and pediatric cancer research. www.flashesofhope.org. Along with this great organization I contribute my services to Sewall Child Development Center, a unique, non-profit, diverse preschool in Denver that serves both special needs and typical developing kiddos in an inclusive setting. I currently live in Cherry Hills Village, Colorado with my husband and three lovely, energetic girls.
