Description

Enjoy a 4 night stay in a newly renovated, historic 1884 Victorian farmhouse, situated in the sleepy coastal town of Bolinas, an hour north of San Francisco.

The house sits on 10 acres with fruit trees, walking trails, a stream, gardens, and much to explore, yet is walking distance to downtown Bolinas and the lagoon, the beach, and local amenities including tennis courts and parks.

The house is fully furnished with 5 bedrooms, a fully stocked cook's eat-in kitchen, a sun-soaked rustic dining room with seating for 16, a large living room with fireplace, separate kids' den, and multiple decks and outside spaces.  House also includes a separate sleeping cabin, a small heated endless pool, and has tons of board games, beach gear, a kayak, surf boards, tennis rackets and balls, and bikes for you to use and enjoy.

Local activities and attractions include epic tide pooling at Agate Beach, the best beginner waves in northern California, paddling or kayaking right up to the seals on Bolinas Lagoon, and many local hikes including Bass Lake, Cataract Falls, and Alamere Falls.

Local institutions include Audubon Canyon Ranch, Gospel Flats farm, and the Point Reyes Bird Observatory.  20 minutes south is Stinson Beach, and 20 minutes north lies Point Reyes with its own wealth of things to do including the Point Reyes National Seashore and Lighthouse, Tomales Bay and Hog Island Oysters, a weekly farmer's market in the summer, and local culinary delights including Cow Girl Creamery, the Bovine Bakery, Osteria Stellina, Marin Sun Farms, and the newly reopened Manka's at the historic Olema Inn.

Your stay will need to be scheduled on mutually convenient days with the owners, and should be completed by November 2013.  The house is unavailable during the month of July.
