Description
South Wind Stables – 3 Entry Fees for 2013 Dressage Schooling Shows in Pataskala, Ohio
This will be our 8th year of presenting casual and fun shows for the Central Ohio Dressage Community. All are ODS Year-End Awards Qualifying Shows. South Wind Stables is proud to have all USDF “L” graduates officiate at our shows. This provides the competitor a trained official to give educated feedback.
South Wind Stables is a first-class facility with a small, private barn atmosphere carefully designed to make you feel right at home. The individual needs of each horse receive top priority. The barn is light and airy and features 14 oak stalls. The stalls measure 12 x 12 and have rubber mats, heated buckets, and run-outs for fresh air and exercise.
South Wind Stables is designed to accommodate both beginning and intermediate riders interested in improving their general horsemanship skills and learning dressage. For those interested in trails, the 30 acres of woods and ravines make for a lovely ride throughout the seasons.
Amy Rothe-Hietter, the resident riding instructor, has 25 years of experience with horses and teaching riding. Amy is an active participant in the local dressage community, serving as president of Ohio Dressage Society, board member of Mid-Ohio Dressage Association, and has managed several local schooling shows. She has shown 3rd level dressage, and has graduated with distinction from the United States Dressage Federation’s “L“ program and has earned her USDF Bronze Medal. Amy brings her enthusiasm for horses and her riding expertise to teaching along with genuine sincerity and kindness for each individual rider. She has helped many students experience fun and success at their first horse show.
