Description
Feeling crafty? Why not spend a few hours with your family and friends making handmade cards! Join Joe Rotella and the team from Create & Craft for a private paper arts class in your home!
You'll make 5 greeting cards using techniques like paper piecing, iris folding, rubber stamping, embossing and even pop-ups!
Making your own cards is great fun and Joe's classes are always filled with laughter and creativity. WARNING: Card making can be addictive!!
Joe’s work has appeared in Scrap & Stamp Arts, Just Cards (Volume 27, Fall 2012), Just Steampunk! and Somerset Studio Gallery Summer 2012 magazines. He’s filmed a segment of Crafting at the Spotted Canary with Joy Macdonell (airing on PBS Saturday's at 8:30 AM) and 2 segments for Scrapbook Soup TV (Season 2, 2012). He has won Archiver’s One-of-a-Kind Wall Art contest (Ohio, August 2011).
Special Instructions
* Location must be mutually agreed upon between you and Create & Craft, be within 60 miles of Columbus, Ohio and be conducive to crafting (e.g., tables and chairs). It could be your home, office or public space.
* Class is limited to 8 students. Students must be 18 years or older.
* Supplies and tools will be provided by Create & Craft
* Class must be held before March 1, 2013. Date and time must be mutually agreed upon between you and Create & Craft. Class runs 2-3 hours, depending on projects selected.
* You can provide input in to the theme or types of cards you would like to make in class.
