Your Private Flight of Madrigal

--one 750 ml each of Madrigal Atlas Peak Cabernet Sauvignon, 2006, 2007, 2008

--private tour and tasting for up to four people

Since the late 1930's, three generations of the Madrigal family have farmed the vineyards of the Napa Valley. The family history is a constant source of inspiration that guides their wine making. The long relationship which the Madrigal family has had with the land and people has yielded a deep appreciation of their vineyards, which can be tasted in their wine. This exceptional 2.5-acre site receives extraordinary stewardship from Jess Madrigal, whose expert hands have nurtured Napa Valley's vineyards for 50 years. Building on the winegrowing wisdom passed along years ago from his father, Jess coaxes a spectrum of elegant flavors from the vines in this block. The resulting wines show the depth and complexity that distinguish the finest Cabernets.

This flight of Madrigal’s Atlas Peak Cabernet Sauvignon will show you the unique differences from vintage to vintage of this 100% Cabernet.  The wine exhibits luscious dark berry notes, while its bold body is softened by seductive undertones characteristic of Cabernet grown in temperate areas that still receive a full day of sunlight. Enjoy this wine now or later; it will hold up well.

We paired this flight with a complimentary tasting for four people at the Madrigal Vineyards in Calistoga.  Call for your reservation, bring a picnic if you like, and let the Madrigal team treat you to their lineup of beautifully balanced Napa Valley wines featuring Tempranillo, Petite Sirah, their Cabernet and others.
