Far Niente, an Italian phrase that romantically translated means "without a care," has famously cared for their Napa Valley Chardonnay since the 1885 winery was brought back to life by founder Gil Nickel in 1979.
For the 2010 vintage, the combination of fruit from a spectacular selection of Napa Valley vineyards resulted in the subtle, tropical
flavors, complex aromas and uncommon richness that have drawn wine aficionados to Far Niente Chardonnay for decades.
