Description
Come join us for Synergy's annual Women's Literary Evening, where you'll enjoy food, conversation & delicious inspiration.
We'll serve dinner and drinks, and then writer Peggy Orenstein will talk about her books, including her most recent: Cinderella Ate My Daughter: Dispatches from the Front Lines of the New Girlie-Girl Culture, which one critic called, " A must read for any parent trying to stay sane in a media saturated world."
Her previous books include Waiting for Daisy; Flux: Women on Sex, Work, Kids, Love and Life in a Half-Changed World; and the best-selling SchoolGirls: Young Women, Self-Esteem and the Confidence Gap. Orenstein is a contributing writer for the New York Times magazine.
After her presentation, Peggy will answer questions and sign copies of her book; and we'll wind up the evening with dessert and coffee.
Don't miss it!
