Cooking Class with Synergy Alum parent and acclaimed chef, Mitra, chef at inspirealicious, for 6 people:
An interactive cooking school introducing the exotic cuisine of Persia!
June 2, Sunday at 3 pm
Cooking lesson will take place in Granada, near Half Moon Bay.
Classes can take between 3 to 4 hours.
Students will be greeted with a glass of prosecco and pomegranite juice. A beautifully presented Persian platter of fresh herbs, organic cheese and toasted walnuts to enjoy . This is a traditional herb platter that is present at every meal as fresh herbs play an integral part on a Persian “sofreh”.
After introduction, we will put on our aprons, choose our utensils and start cooking! The Persian dishes to cook for the class are chosen based on group assessment and interest.
After our food is put in the oven, we proceed to make a side dish while learning about the ancient and beautiful Persian culture and our spices.
Once food is ready you are invited to gather around the dining table and enjoy it with your fellow chefs in a serene and beautiful setting.
To finish the evening on a sweet note, you will be introduced to an array of Persian pastries to enjoy with the wonderful and aromatic brewed Persian tea.
