Since graduating with her Master of Vocal Performance from the San Francisco Conservatory of Music, soprano Amy Foote has sung an expansive repertoire, ranging from leading roles on the operatic stage to world premieres of contemporary chamber music. Her title roles include Laurie in The Tender Land by Aaron Copland, Pamina in The Magic Flute by W.A. Mozart, and Elsie in Yeoman of the Guard by Gilbert and Sullivan. As an in-demand collaborator and chamber musician  in the Bay Area, Ms. Foote has worked with and premiered works by over a dozen composers.  Her most recent projects include a fully memorized and staged production of Schoenberg’s Pierrot Lunaire with her chamber group, Nonsemble 6, and the debut LP of her experimental rock band, Makeunder. She currently studies with acclaimed dramatic soprano Sylvia Anderson, and coaches fledgling rock bands at San Francisco’s Bird School of Music.
