The Center for New Music San Francisco, Inc. is a community center for participants of new music in San Francisco. The Center serves the practitioners of creative, non-commercial music by providing the resources they need, including space to work, rehearse, and perform, access to a like-minded community, and access to media resources. Through these services, the Center seeks to support and build the community of new music to encourage its efficiency, growth, integration, and excellence.

Membership at the Center for New Music is for audiences, composers, performers, critics, administrators, supporters—really, anyone who’d like to consider the Center their home base for connecting with the new music community. Members receive special rates on:
- Rehearsal and event rentals
- Tickets to most concert presentations and workshops
And are also entitled to:
- Present a concert or workshop, have a rehearsal, or host a meeting, free of charge, space/availability permitting
- Hold meetings (space permitting)
- Attend all community events
- Drop-in to send e-mails
- Post events and projects to community boards
- Make use of our community resource library
- (For a nominal fee) Use the photocopier and media station
Would you like to make the Center your home base for working in the city? We offer co-working and office rentals as well.
