Lucia Lainez, Speech-Language Pathologist, will provide a comprehensive speech and language assessment. The evaluation includes the assessment, written report and recommendations. Ongoing speech and language therapy services may be offered depending on the client's need.

Lucia received her Bachelor of Arts in Communicative Disorders with a Minor in Special Education at San Francisco State University in San Francisco, California. She also received her Master of Science in Communicative Disorders and a Credential in Alternative and Augmentative Communication (AAC) in Early Intervention Settings. She completed her Clinical Fellowship (CF) at Imua Family Services in Maui, Hawaii, where she provided speech and language intervention services to the early intervention population 0-5 years. Prior to her speech-language pathology training, Lucia received her Early Childhood Education Credential and worked as a bilingual preschool teacher at a Head Start Program in the San Francisco Bay Area.
Lucia currently lives and works in San Francisco, California, with her son. She is a San Francisco native and enjoys hiking, eating and travelling. Recently, Lucia began providing direct and distant support to Los Pipitos, a special needs program in San Juan Del Sur, Nicaragua. Los Pipitos provides education opportunities to students with a variety of disabilities and age-ranges within the San Juan Del Sur community.
