Gurpreet Kaur is a professionally trained photographer specializing in portrait photography. She studied at Montreal's Dawson Institute of Photography. She was awarded ‘Le Prix du Lieutenant Governor’ in Quebec, for high achievement in the arts and academic excellence. She
has photographed professionally for the past 10 years.

Her work has been featured on the cover of a publication entitled A Smile is Worth a Thousand Words: A Photographic Tour of Happiness which Amazon.com describes as a compilation of photos that challenges some of the world’s greatest photographers to capture the essence of this sentiment.    
  
During each portrait session she strives to capture her clients’ personality in a contemporary setting. A resident of the East Bay, Gurpreet enjoys exploring many of the Bay Area’s scenic wonders with her husband.  She also loves to travel, cook, and drinking coffee!
