Description
JFSA offers counseling and psychotherapy to children, adolescents, adults, couples, families and groups. Our clinical staff are licensed professionals and quality MFT and Social Work interns dedicated to providing quality care for our clients that supports and inspires them to live up to their full potential, personally, interpersonally, and professionally.
The counseling department is led under the Clinical direction of Dr. Shari Stanton.
JFSA Clinicians are trained in a variety of treatment modalities including Cognitive Behavioral, Family Systems, Psychodynamic, Developmental, Brief Therapy, and are experienced in treating the following:
- Anxiety and Obsessive Compulsive Disorders
- Depression and Bi-Polar Disorder
- Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) and Trauma Recovery
- Treatment for Substance Abuse, Alcohol and other addictions following a successful rehabilitation program
- Grief/Loss
- Chronic Illness, Health and Wellness
- Employment Stress
- Counseling for the stress and self-esteem concerns of the unemployed
- Relationship Concerns
- Family Conflict
- Child and Adolescent Mental Health and Behavioral Issues
- Divorce
- Life Transitions and Role Change
