A brand new kosher "Shake Shack" type diner, Gotham Burger, opened its doors to the Teaneck public in March 2012. Avi Roth, the owner and a graduate of the Center for Kosher Culinary Arts, decided it was time to beef up the kosher family dining selections in Jersey. Gotham Burger's decor is clean and attractive, and the ambiance is upscale, yet casual at the same time. Their menu is diverse, but not overwhelming, and it offers the perfect combination of unique tastes, quality ingredients, and wonderful service, all delivered at an affordable price. From steak sandwiches to salads to burgers, including sliders, veggie burgers, and 6oz beef burgers, there is something for everyone. Gotham Burger, with its classic American type cuisine, prides itself on freshness and a friendly efficient staff that results in a fabulous meal with great service.

Gotham Burger employs a saucier who makes sauces from scratch and offers an array of dipping sauces that are creative and tasty; the "Mango Habanero" is a must try. Their high quality beef burgers are ground in-house, cooked on a flattop griddle, finished on the grill and served on a brioche-style bun. The popular "Chicken Tenders," are just the right mix of crunchy and crispy, and this moist and flavorful dish should be put onto your 'to get list' immediately. Gotham Burger also features home cut french fries that will compliment any burger. And their one of a kind, nondairy milkshakes will have you forgetting you're at a meat restaurant. The "Baked Apple Dish Pie" and the "Frozen Peanut Butter Chocolate Pie" with the chocolate moose, or any of their many desserts add the finishing touch to your satisfying meal.

Gotham Wings- Deep-fried, cooked to perfection, then finished with a spicy sauce that will leave you wanting more
Chicken Fingers- These fingers are not just big in size but “big” in taste. Crispy coated chicken breast that has a great crunch. Not enough? Choose from one of our delicious dipping sauces.

Beef Sliders- A delicious way to start a meal or to have as a snack, a 1 oz. burger, steam-grilled on a steamed bun, topped with ketchup, a pickle chip and grilled onions
Chili- Their chili is made with ground beef, beans and an array of vegetables and spices
