Imagine, think, create, and write... Writopia Lab offers creative writing workshops for students age 8-18. Their workshops have a maximum of seven students and are all let by a published writer or a playwright. For the last four years, more students from Writopia Lab have won recognition both regionally and nationally in the Scholastic Art & Writing awards than from any other school in the nation.

At the beginning of a workshop, each student chooses to write in the genre of their choice. Teens usually focus on completing one piece over the week and younger writers sometimes write several stories. Sessions are filled with brainstorming, writing, and workshopping and are peppered with fun and productive writing games. 

Workshops meet weekly for ten 1 1/2 hour after school or weekend sessions.
