With its breathtaking views of the Hudson River, Boscobel provides the perfect setting for the Hudson Valley Shakespeare Festival’s summer season. For more than 25 years, the Festival has been the only resident Shakespeare company in the Hudson Valley region.

Boscobel is situated on 68 acres on the east bank of the Hudson River, opposite the U.S. Military Academy at West Point. The House dates from the early 1800s and contains one of the nation's leading collections of furniture and decorative arts from the Federal period. In addition to daily guided tours of the mansion, visitors can enjoy the Rose Garden, Herb Garden, Orangery and Woodland Trail, as well as a full program of special events, concerts, and family activities.

The Hudson Valley Shakespeare Festival is dedicated to producing the plays of Shakespeare with an economy of style that focuses their energy and resources on script, actors, and audience. They communicate the stories with energy, clarity and invention and distill rather than embellish the language and action.
