Description

These award winning living history experiences will take you back in time.

Visit the HN Greenwell Store Museum set in the 1880's during the multi-ethnic ranching days of mauka Kona. Get a rare glimpse of Kona's past through the eyes of the people who shopped at the store. On Thursdays, you can help with the bread baking at the Portuguese Stone Oven and purchase a hot, fresh loaf to go home with.

When you step onto the Kona Coffee Living History Farm you experience an actual 1930's working coffee farm, the only living history coffee farm in the nation!  You will learn about the Kona Coffee industry, as well as the remarkable pioneers who established small family farms throughout the remote Kona district.

Members of the Kona Historical Society receive free admission to both the H.N. Greenwell Store Museum and the Kona Coffee Living History Farm, member discounts on historical tours and archive research, and 10% Kiosk discount on gift items and coffee.
