The "ridiculously enjoyable from start to finish" production opened at the Palace Theatre in New York in 2007 and was nominated for seven Tony Awards and 10 Drama Desk Awards. Originally directed and choreographed by Jerry Mitchell, the production is based on the movie, "Legally Blonde" which starred Reese Witherspoon. The production has a PG rating for students 13 and under and has been edited to ensure a fun, whimsical, family-friendly show.
