Gift certificate to attend the basic bead stringing class at Dava Bead & Trade, taught by Dava owner and Maitripa student Anita Bermont.

In this technique class, you will learn about the different materials and tools used for stringing beads in a manner that will hold up over time. This will include the use of soft-flex and crimp beads, knotting between beads and applying bead tips, and attaching cord crimps and a clasp to leather cording. You will leave class with samples to refer to for future stringing projects. All materials are included. Each workshop meets once.

With a background in early childhood education and occupational therapy, what became very clear was the value of creative expression as a means of establishing a sense of well being.
