From her studio in Oregon's scenic Cascade Mountains, Dulcie Lindsoe-Johansen creates an outstanding line of functional stoneware as well as unique handbuilt sculptures.
With a Bachelor of Arts degree from Virginia Tech and a Master of Arts degree in Ceramics and Sculpture from Colorado's Adams State College, Dulcie has been producing and selling her work throughout the Pacific Northwest since 1980. In addition, she worked alongside Master Potter and nationally known ceramic artist Bennet Welch in his Gresham, Oregon studio in the early 1980's.
The Matte or Glossy glazes with vivid airbrushed patterns offer a wide variety of creations and design - from complete dinnerware sets and traditional kitchenware ensembles to piggy banks, candle pots, chop sticks bowls and even pet dishes. The newest glazes, River Green and Feather Blue, offer the customer even more choices.
Influenced by her surroundings, the airbrush and etching technique used gives a soft blend of color and shape. The popular nature designs featuring bear, deer, moose or cabins in a misty forest setting are sold from coast to coast!
