Description
LYWA is offering our two newest DVDs as a set:
Freedom Through Understanding: Lama Yeshe and Lama Zopa Rinpoche
In Lama Yeshe’s and Lama Zopa Rinpoche’s first trip to Europe they offered a weekend seminar based on their famous month-long Kopan meditation courses. Preceded by Lama Yeshe’s lecture on meditation at Kensington Town Hall, these teachings at Royal Holloway College, Surrey, encompass the entire Buddhist path to enlightenment.
3 disc set, totalling over 10 1/2 hours playing time.
Life, Death and After Death: Lama Yeshe
The teachings on this DVD are from a weekend seminar on death, intermediate state and rebirth that Lama Yeshe taught in Geneva Switzerland in September 1983. The topic is particularly poignant as this was the last teaching Lama gave in the West; he passed away some five months later. Included also is video of Lama teaching on transference of consciousness at the time of death in London the previous year.
2 disc set, totalling over 7 1/2 hours playing time.
Lama Zopa Rinpoche says: "Dharma books plant the seed of the path to enlightenment in the mind of the reader. That imprint ripens, realizations come, and liberation is attained. Books open the wisdom eye; you can understand death and the nature of mind; they teach you how to develop compassion; they bring world peace.
The Lama Yeshe Wisdom Archive publishes authentic Dharma books. When you read and practice them, you can understand karma, how everything comes from the mind, that the external cause is not the only one. This can lead you to a happy death and a happy rebirth."
