Pacific Pie Company was launched in 2009 when husband and wife team Sarah + Chris moved to Portland from Chris’ native Australia. Chris was homesick for all things Aussie, including meat pies, so Sarah started baking them for him…and a business was born!
Sarah and Chris started by selling their pies at local farmer’s markets, and then opened a small cafe in Southeast Portland in 2010.
As word spread about Pacific Pie Co’s amazing handmade pies they quickly outgrew their original location, and started building a new bakery + restaurant at 1520 SE 7th Ave (formerly home to Roots Organic Brewing), which opened in May 2011 with a quick service bakery and a full service restaurant and bar. Today Sarah and Chris are proud to employee a large team of dedicated bakers, cooks, and servers.
