Miles of freshly groomed trails wind through the backcountry with spectacular alpine views of the Gore Mountain Range and Holy Cross Mountain. Vail Valley Tours provides a complimentary shuttle service from any major hotel in the Vail, Beaver Creek and Avon areas.

Minimum age to drive a snowmobile:

• 18 years or older with valid ID.


• 15-17 years with valid learners permit or drivers license.


• Drivers ages 15-17 must provide a signed waiver from a parent or guardian if not accompanied by an adult.


• Drivers ages 15-17 may not carry a passenger under the age of 18.

Minimum age of passenger:

• 6 years old.  Children must be old enough to ride behind the driver.

All tours include:

• A snowmobile tour guide.

A hot beverage and a snack (for both 2 & 3 hour trips and light lunch on the 3 hour tour).
