Description
Orthoceras are a long straight, squid-like Marine Cephalopod from Devonian Period (approximately 350 million years ago). These creatures lived in a shallow sea and their fossils are now found in the Atlas Mountains of Morocco. Orthoceras are identified by their straight shell with center siphuncle. They became extinct approximately 190 million years ago.
