Description
Prelude to life:
This summer as my daughter and I were combing through my thread grass to remove the seed that tangle it so, she discovered that because of their ability to cling to almost anything they could in fact be rolled into beautiful balls. I have saved them just waiting for the opportunity to use them in my work.
Seeds are the infinitely, patient preludes to life. Stored within them are the archetypes of their species, their perfect pattern to manifest when supplied with the proper conditions to spring to life.
This piece is dedicated to my mother who gave me life, love and so much more by planting within me the seeds of her love of beauty, art, music, nature and her infinite search for self expression.
