Loretta Lynn is an American country music legend.  A singer, songwriter and author, she has written over 160 songs and released 70 albums. With ten #1 albums and sixteen #1 singles on the country charts, Ms. Lynn has won dozens of awards including four Grammies, seven American Music Awards, eight Broadcast Music Incorporated awards, twelve Academy of Country Music, eight Country Music Association and twenty-six fan-voted Music City News awards. A Country Music Hall of Fame honoree, she still performs and tours around the country. She is perhaps best known for her song, Coal Miner’s Daughter, which was made into a movie and earned lead actress Sissy Spacek an Academy Award.

Dorothea is Professor of Art at Northern Illinois University School of Art in DeKalb, IL.  She is a nationally acclaimed artist in printing, printmaking and drawing.  She received her BFA in painting from Illinois Wesleyan University and her MFA in painting from Southern Illinois University-Carbondale, School of the Art Institute of Chicago.
