Description

Mike Wolfe is the co-host of the History Channel’s popular American Pickers, viewed by 5.5 million weekly viewers. He is one of the country’s foremost professional foragers, traveling coast to coast in search of forgotten antique treasures (or “rusty gold,” as he calls them) from people’s barns, attics and garages. He is the author of American Pickers Guide to Picking. His store, Antique Archeology, contains many of his finds, and others are in his home, like the 1913 Harley-Davidson parked in the dining room.

Mask designed by Abi Gonzales

A Wolfe in Metal

For Mike Wolfe, Abi designed a 3-dimensional metal wolfe.

"I’m an artist who grew up on the Southwest side of Chicago. I've enjoyed drawing and sculpting since I was 5 years old. I feel blessed that I was encouraged to pursue art by my family. I received my BFA from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago. I studied welding at Washburne Trade School in Chicago and have studied metal fabrication at Evanston Art Center and Penland School of Craft in NC. I have my studio on the North side of Chicago."
