“Courtdream depicts a grass tennis court, which is Anna’s favorite, amid a backdrop of landscape scenery, a subject that I often use in my artwork. A dreamy face emerges from the lines in the court, and the tennis ball hovers at the third eye, where, like in a dream, we see beyond physical existence.”

Dianne Martia is an award-winning mixed media artist. She graduated cum laude from Columbia College with a B.A. degree in Graphic/Fine/ Craft Arts, and earned an M.A.M.S. degree in Biocommunication Art from the University of Illinois. Dianne works with oil and wax, acrylic and collage. She enjoys teaching classes and workshops, and facilitates an art studio for adults with developmental challenges.
