Actress and comedian Kirstie Alley is known for her role in the TV show Cheers, in which she played Rebecca Howe (1987–1993). This role garnered her an Emmy Award (the first of two in her career) and a Golden Globe Award as the Outstanding Lead Actress in a Comedy Series (1991). She is also known for her role in the thriller Shoot to Kill and the Look Who's Talking film series as Mollie Ubriacco. Ms. Alley made her movie debut in 1982's Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan, playing the half-Vulcan/half- Romulan Starfleet officer Lieutenant Saavik. She was has also been honored with a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame at 7000 Hollywood Boulevard.
