Laura Matzen is a local artist who has been teaching high school art for 13 years. She has exhibited in and around Chicago for the last 15 years. "This mask was inspired by my current body of work, Against the Sky, which depicts richly-colored skies and silhouetted birds, trees, and Chicago scenes."
