Description

Lisa Harris sculpted and produced all of the beautiful white bisque masks for the DuPage Children's Museum's "100 Masks Online Auction" from her studio at the Lillstreet Art Center.  We extend our sincere thanks to her for graciously offering her time and talent.

BA Fine Arts, Grinnell College; Art Institute- Post-grad Studies; Lillstreet Studio member and instructor of ceramics for over 20 years and the Evanston Art Center since 2007. I have led numerous specialty workshops/demos in the public schools, the Art Institute of Chicago, Stirling Hall, Lillstreet Art Center, Terra Incognito, and Oakton CC. My work includes bas-relief tiles and custom awards as well as architecturally inspired sculpture and vessels. Of late, I have incorporated the figure more prominently. My work is exhibited in local galleries/shows- notably in a two-person show at the Fermi lab in Batavia, Il - and is included in national and international collections. I am also included in two Lark publications on tiles.

I do custom commissions, such as making the masks for this fundraiser and ceramic repairs and restoration.
