Brian Keith Urlacher, Chicago Bears linebacker, has played his entire pro career for the Chicago Bears and is one of the NFL’s most productive defensive players. After winning the NFL Rookie of the Year Award in 2000, he has been elected to eight Pro Bowls, and won the NFL Defensive of the Year award in 2005. His playing style, accomplishments and reputation have made him one of the team's most popular players both to fans and sponsors, and he has starred several commercials. In 2012, Urlacher was awarded the Ed Block Courage Award, given to those who showed a commitment to sportsmanship and courage.

As an avid Chicago sports fan it was a thrill for him to get the opportunity to create pieces based on The White Sox and Bears. He wanted to make them vibrant while giving them some of the character of the celebrity.
