This is a beautiful Rag rug that can add charm and creativity to your home. Rug was made on a loom by Homestead  H.S. students in Clare Dee's 3-D Design Class. Strips of fabric were cut and hooked together in the tradition of rag rug making which was popular during the Great Depression. Now this craft has become popular again as a utilitarian way to re-purpose old fabric and unwanted clothing. H.H.S. Students enjoyed contributing their effort to a group project and seeing the rug grow beautifully.

Rug measures 27" X 34" not including the 2 inch fringe added to both sides. Colors are green with varied blues, come of which were made from cut- up blue jeans. Reds and peach colors also add to this rug's beauty. Rug is 100% cotton and it is machine washable, recommended air drying to reduce shrinkage.  This will be a great addition to the home of any Mustang fan!
