Made by HHS student Erika Guttekunst in Mrs. Dee’s 3-D Design Class. Colorful bowl is made from carefully wrapping magazine pages that have been cut into strips and glued together. A shimmery surface, which comes from glittery glue adds to its visual appeal.

Magazine coiling is a Craft that originated in developing countries which have few resources for traditional art supplies. Such repurposed Crafts are becoming more popular as we attempt to become more “green”.  Add a touch of creativity to your home with this beautifully made bowl.

Bowl measures 5 inches tall and approximately 7 inches wide at opening.
