Description

Enjoy an afternoon with friends at the symphony.

Host Sam Bergman brings his magical blend of history, musical analysis, and whimsy to take a deeper look at Strauss' composition. The first half of the concert will be a musical mystery tour through the piece. The second half will be the full rendition of this piece which uses the cello as the voice of Don Quixote and the viola to portray the comical sidekick Sancho Panza. We welcome Concert Artists Guild International Competition Winner Sebastien Bäverstam, making his
Mankato debut. A series of special events are planned around this concert in collaboration with MSU's Jim Grabowska and Kim Contag, leading experts on all things Quixote.

This package includes 2 tickets to the Mankato Symphony
Orchestra’s production of Deconstructing Don Quixote on Sunday, March 3 at 3pm. The performance will be held in the Mankato West Auditorium.
