I was born to parents afflicted with wanderlust so I grew up overseas. I have lived in Venezuela, Argentina, England, The Netherlands, as well as the United States. In each of these countries I had the opportunity to ride and work with very talented trainers. I've also had the good fortune to travel, and ride, in many other countries. I was as also able to experiment with riding disciplines. As a junior I show jumped on a national level. I also competed in dressage in the Dutch equivalent to the NAYRC. I evented in England through Intermediate, qualifying for Advanced. I've breezed racehorses, foxhunted, shown youngsters in breed shows, shown hunters both in hand and under saddle, played polo-cross, and even worked cattle!
There are so many possibilities in working with horses and all have been educational and contributed to who I am as a rider and instructor.
