Center for Wellness and Achievement in Education is pleased to have Kate Vigmostad lead a three-hour long Wellness Workshop including introduction to Yoga, Pranayama (meditative breathing) and a delicious and healthy lunch for Mind-Body Wellness.
Yoga helps develop your flexibility, strength, posture and balance. Other health benefits of yoga are improved breathing habits, less stress, increased focus and concentration (learning and memory) improved mood and a healthier heart. The practice of yoga is also known to relieve symptoms of asthma, back pain, arthritis, insomnia, depression, anxiety and multiple sclerosis.
Start the new year afresh with this relaxing and enjoyable introduction to Yoga with experienced Yoga Instructor, Kate Vigmostad.

About Kate:
Kate Vigmostad started studying yoga and meditation as a child, developing a deep understanding of yogic principles for health and well being through years of practice and studying with her yoga mentor. A lifelong interest in dance and movement also lead her to receiving an MFA in Dance in 2010 from The University of Iowa. Kate completed her 200-hour Yoga Alliance certified yoga teacher certification in 2012 from Yoga Tree in San Francisco.
