According to the website, this bulb is "what’s known as an “Aerolux” 
bulb.  Believe it or not they were considered a form of entertainment 
in the 1920′s & 1930′s.  They made just about any icon you can think
of: cartoon characters, planes, flowers, religious figures, etc.  The 
original manufacturer is no longer around. Luckily, Tomorrow's 

Antiques found someone who is remaking these period style bulbs. 

Even though the Aerolux bulbs add a lot of depth, this bell jar table 

lamp looks just as interesting with a reproduction Edison bulb."
