Under music label Irish Entertainment, Doyle captures the raw energy and true essence of Irish music. Lyrically, the songs range from classic storytelling to rebel songs to soulful ballads.

About the Artist
Robert Doyle Dittman is a blind Irish American performer. He plays the guitar and sings a variety of traditional Irish pub and folk songs. His CDs include original works with an American patriotic flare.

Doyle's zest for life has led him to sky-dive, bungee-jump, water-ski and to become the first blind person to complete a basic indoctrination training course in the U.S. Coast Guard (it is believed he is the only blind person to complete basic training in any military branch). To date, he remains  the first and only blind person to have served on a boat in the U.S. Coast Guard.

Doyle earned an associate's degree in radio, TV and film production from San Antonio College and a bachelor's degree in mass communications from the University of Texas at San Antonio. Most recently, he completed his legal education at the St. Mary's School of Law and is currently studying for the Texas Bar Exam.

Doyle's most recent performance at the Harp and Shamrock's St. Patricks Day celebration at the Arneson River Theater in San Antonio, Texas, can be viewed on YouTube at http://www.youtube.com/user/irishentertainment04
