Steven Mercer, Ed.D. is former admission officer at USC and is an experienced educator with an extensive background in selective college admission, counseling, teaching, and academic and non-profit leadership. Dr. Mercer is the founder of Mercer Educational Consulting, a private college counseling practice in Los Angeles, CA. He is an Adjunct Faculty member in the on-line College Counseling Certificate program at UCSD Extension. Dr. Mercer also works as a consultant to Offices of Admission at colleges across the country. He is a member of the National Association of College Admission Counseling, the Western Association of College Admission Counseling and a Professional Member of the Independent Educational Consultants Association.
