Portland Taiko is an award-winning Asian American drumming ensemble. Rhythm, melody, and movement are woven together into an exhilarating musical experience. By combining traditional and contemporary compositions and choreography, Portland Taiko takes Asian American music into unexplored territory with its innovative and provocative creations.
INSATIABLE is a premiere of innovative compositions featuring the vision of artistic director Michelle Fujii. Join us as we explore the possibilities of the art form of taiko through contemporary reflections on Japanese folk dance. This evocative program will push the performers into an exploration of drumming, dance, and voice seamlessly. This full length work explores life’s endless cycles that are never satisfied, unavoidable connections and interwoven relationships. How does the relentless passing of time shape your decisions? Do these cycles consume or empower us?

Items will be available for pick-up at Village Home's westside campus as follows:

Tuesday, March 12 - Thursday, March 14: 10am - 3pm
Friday, March 15: 3:30pm - 7:30pm
Items can be picked up at Village Home’s eastside campus by arrangement.
