In preparation to create this collaborative ceramic mural, several students posed for the others. They drew about five quick gesture drawings with the intent of capturing "the pose" or what the figure was doing. Students then chose one of their favorite sketches to lightly carve in to the clay, then glaze, creating this rather hip image. The border is imprinted with the same design used for the lower elementary owl eyes.
