These three (3) unique Cherry Burl Nested Platters with a natural edge were hand turned by Jim Parker, father of Jeff Parker, FEPS Board Member.
Burl wood has a unique, wavy grain derived from an abnormal growth in the tree. Cherry burl in particular has a strong, attractive grain and a warm golden color, making it a good choice for turning projects, like pens or bowls.
The dimensions of the platters are as follows:
Small Platter Height 1.5" width 7.5"
Medium Platter Height 3" width 9.5"
Large Platter Height 4.5" width 12"
