Description
Ball point twist pen hand turned from Black Ash Burl by Jim Parker, father of Jeff Parker, FEPS Board member. Black & copper trim.
Black Ash draws its name from the ash-grey color of its bark. It is native to the Northern US and Canada and prefers wet soils. A burl, or "pearl of the forest", is a deformed growth on the trunk.
