"Spirit of the Forest" framed print by Russell Cobane.

Print is 12" x 16". With frame, dimensions are 18" x 22". The donor acquired this framed print from Artful Decor in Wisconsin.

All of Russell Cobane's artwork is reproduced in limited quantites on canvas using the Giclee printing process. Giclee (pronounced "zhee-clay") is a French term meaning "to spray". This printing process involves a fine stream of ink more than four million droplets per inch, with over three million colors possible of highly saturated, non-toxic water based ink that will last 150 years. Finally, each canvas print is coated by hand with a waterproof UV varnish.

In addition to being framed, this print is also Gallery Wrapped. With Gallery Wrap, the print extends around the sides of the canvas, which is precision-folded and attached to the back, not the sides, of the stretcher frame.
