Two brand-new original songs from the inimitable Beck. While the A-side of "Hating" manages genre hop as well as anything Mr. Hansen has done in the past, the flip side of "Blue Randy" has a certain timeless quality that feels like it would equally be at home on any past release whether it be "One Foot in the Grave" or "Sea Change." Beck recently hooked up with old buddy Jack White to release a new single on Third Man. White produced both songs, playing drums on the latter and adding “punk vocals” to the former. “I Just Started Hating Some People Today” is an old-school country lope that suddenly switches up into hardcore and then porno-funk at the end. It’s a weird one!

Beck is one of the greatest artists of our time and we are beyond honored to be able to release such a pivotal record in his already-golden catalog.
