A tour of the world-famous Steward Observatory Mirror Lab at the University of Arizona, for up to 10 people. The tour is led by Dr. Buddy Martin, KXCI member and lead scientist for mirror polishing. You will see the largest mirrors ever made, at 8.4 meters in diameter, at various stages of fabrication before they go into some of the world’s most powerful telescopes.
