Dia de los Muertos "Sugar Skull" Handmade Dog ID Tag
 
Created from nickel silver, the sugar skull is stamped by hand and  then soldered to a thick, richly textured bronze disc.  After soldering and polishing, copper color stays present in the crevises, while in the higher places golden brass is brought out by the polish. The finished tag measures 1 1/4" in diameter. Your pup's name goes on the back, along with up to two phone numbers.

About Nancy

I was raised in Tucson, Arizona. A few years ago, my husband and I bought an acre of land in the foothills of the Tucson mountains and moved into a beautiful home amidst the giant saguaro cactus. We frequently see deer, javelina and the occasional bobcat and kittens in our yard. Yes, it gets hot here in the summer, but it's a dry heat and our winters are gorgeous and warm.

Although I've been a working artist for many years, I've also been active in animal welfare here in Tucson. I'm an avid supporter of animal rescue organizations. My two cats Daisy and Mudge, and my dog Rico are all shelter alumni.

I began making these tags for my friends, and now they are being worn by rescued and adopted cats and dogs all around the world, who have found their "forever homes".
