This is a deeply relaxing, often dreamy & blissful,meditative, yet engergizing yoga therapy given while fully clothed in yoga-like clothing on a mat on the floor. It combines rhythmic acupressure on energy lines and points, yoga like stretches, breath awareness, a meditative state and metta (loving kindness) from the feet to the head. It can be a very transformative yoga therapy, combining the benefits of yoga postures, breathwork/pranayam, meditation and metta.
Thai Yoga Massage is an ancient and legendary form of yoga therapy attributed to the yogi physician to Buddha. It is 2500 years old and was originally developed to care for the well being of the Buddhist monks in the temples of Thailand.
